Tracking Classes

Training classes for 2024 are full.

Please email otcglreg@gmail.com to be on the waitlist if a spot opens up this term. And future tracking class information in 2025.


2 separate classes will Be offered:


*Beginning Wednesday April 24 at 9am


Or

*Beginning Thursday April 25 at 5pm

  • plan for class taking a few hours as time progresses for aging of the tracks

  • for those that work or live further away and cannot get there at those times, instructors can accommodate, within reason.

Beginning Tracking (registration fee $150, payment is due immediately via PayPal) Tracking class not eligible for Platinum Pass. Each handler is only allowed to hold one spot in tracking class to make sure there is room for all interested.

Class will start Spring 2024 and run throughout the summer (weather dependent). Location is in the area of East Lansing

Note: This class open only to dogs that have not certified or earned a tracking title. The goal of this class is to get the beginning dog/handler team ready to certify and pass an AKC TD or TDU test. In addition to working the dogs, map making, equipment, AKC tracking rules and regulations, line handling, and more will be covered. Instructors: Deb Huff (517-651-5401) and Beth Lange (517-290-7249). Both instructors are AKC tracking judges. limit is 8 dogs per class.
